im going to sit here and feel sorry for myself all day my throat has felt real... coated? so i cough just because i feel like i need to clear my throat, or it kind of tickles in a way.. so i cough and it hurts and sounds real funny. i told my mom and she looked at the back of my throat and its red and stuff is swollen you would know something like this would happen 3 days before tommy comes, right? what do i do? will medicine from the doctors clear whatever it is up that fast?

You should go to the dr asap. If they think you need antibiotics you will need them in your system for 3 days to be considered not contagious. Or you may just have a soar throat that will go away on its own. I hope you are feeling better soon!
