Well, I did refuse to get my blood drawn
at the first visit.

I could not help
it. I got lectured for the rest of the
day, and basically told to get over it.
Guess what, if it worked like that, it
wouldn't be that hard. I don't know. The
doctor said I could try it at the next
appointment. Other than that, I'm healthy
(other than the fact I need to watch what
I eat i.e. no more fast food! and walk
more). She also tried to tell me I was
only about 12 weeks along. I know my body
better than that, and figured I was about
4 months. The following week I had my
first ultrasound. That was something I
won't ever forget.

The picture came up
and I saw the baby and said OMG! lol. It
was really neat. My boyfriend started
tearing up a bit, and was just as
fascinated as I was. I found out real
quick why I had to go to the bathroom so
bad all the sudden. The baby was breech
and bouncing up and down on my bladder! I
was cool to watch, and the tech and my
boyfriend were laughing, but damn I had to
go! lol She took the pictures and stuff,
and told me I was 16 weeks and 3 days
along (told ya doc.) I'm due September 7.
When she was done I sat up, and we asked
for some pics on a cd so we could email
them to family, and she had me lay back
down. The baby had had enough by then. It
was pouting, and trying to hide. lol She
could not get a decent picture the second
time around. It was cute. No.....she
couldn't tell boy or girl.....as much as
the bugger was bouncing around, it kept
it's legs firmly crossed. lol The tech
said they were usually able to see
"something" if it was a boy, so I still
have hope that it will be a girl!!! lol
Either way, it don't matter.

It would be nice if
I could start getting things that were
colors other than yellow and green
though....lol Well, Just thought I'd
share my excitement! lol
