Pressure in head: should I try acupuncture & massage therapy Posted: 04-05-07 18:51pm
I have been getting pressure in my head
mostly behind my nose and above ears, not
painfull but notisable. can notice my
head almost having little shakes inside,
and can feel head beat on the pulse. Also
developed a non visible bump by left ear
on the medial side. can feel it when you
rub it, about the size a regular pen lid,
no pain when touch and hasnt increased in
size. told doctor and he didnt seem to
concerned
Lots of trouble sleeping as it always
bothers me the senstations and i think
about it. Have been healthy for my whole
life and starting in january i started
getting anxiety. those syntomps of
stiffness or increase of heart rate havent
existed often in last 2 months. Just
feels like im always thinking about whats
wrong and why its happening and just
feeling really frustated, seem to think
about it more because i am taking a human
anatomy course this term
any thoughts? what this could be?
i have thought about trying acupuncture or
message thearapy as well
According to your symptoms (strange
pressure in the head, trouble sleeping,
strange sensations, tachycardia, anxiety,
stiffness…) and considering the medical
examinations you've taken have all showed
OK, you could be experiencing some type of
anxious-depressive disorder. I am not sure
how much acupuncture or massage could help
you but you may try. You can also consult
a mental health professional.
