Anyone here starting their 2ww? If so,
please post here so we can go through this
time together. My ovulation was the 4th
and my af is expected the 18th. I am
currently in my CD16.
This will be an interesting one. I have
been having cramps for 3 days. I don't
know if it's still ovulation pain or not.
my dh and I did the bd on the 1st, 3rd,
and 5th per my doctor. Anyhow, let me
know who else...

Hey! I am 4dpo today I think. My temps
have been really screwed up this month
after the miscarriage but I did have two
positive opk's so I am pretty sure I O'd.

Do you normally get two? I have absolutely
no idea how those work. I
thought you only got a positive on the day
you ovulate.

Does anyone in their tww have a doctors
appt for a blood test? Like, if you
haven't started by a certian date do you
go in for a test? Or do you wait until you
get your bfp to call the doc?

You can get more than one positive opk in
a row. The positive opk predicts
ovulation. You are supposed to ovulated
usually within 2-48 hours of the first
positive and sometimes even up to 72 hours
later, so it's great to let you know to
work a little extra hard with the
babydancing.
I am going to the doctor Monday for cd21
bloodwork. I am basically getting my
progesterone and all my other hormones
checked. I won't go in for a beta, I just
want my positive pregnancy test. I am
going to wait until I am late this time.

Hi girls! I'm joining in on the 2ww group!
I'm 4dpo. This is our 2nd cycle ttc and
2nd month off bcp.
So far the bcps haven't messed with my
system too much. Last cycle my temps were
REALLY good, +OPKs, raised temps after O.
The only downside was a short LF. I only
had 9 days before AF came. Not to give
TMI, but I understand a "red" AF is good
after bcp, compared to brownish. So I
won't complain!
I don't know when to expect AF (for sure)
but if I make it past Friday the 13th I'll
be doing good. B.T.W whose cruel joke is
that anyway...Friday the 13th....lol.
mc4ever02--How is everything going with
you? We are at the same stage for stopping
bcp, ttc, etc...Are you finding this month
any better?I couldn't remember if you are
temping? If so, is everything looking
good?
Good luck girls!!

Niki-My system is all jacked up! A bled a
few days after I went off bcp then agian 8
days later then agian 10 days after that!
I
just stopped bleeding on Tuesday.
Hopefully this will be the last time I
need to worry about it lasting longer that
two weeks
Things are looking really positive for you
though! ~baby dust~

Negar - welcome to the 2ww. Try to think
positively and find something to distract
you from the waiting.
I like the happy face ones, too. But they
let me down last month. I never got a
happy face, but my temp did increase. My
dh and I start to bd every other day when
I detect cm. So we did get our bding in,
anyway.
mc - are you charting your temperature
yet? If you already have an ob/gyn who
you want to deliver your baby, then that
doctor will tell you how soon to come in
after a bfp. My doctor said that as long
as I was taking my vitamins and everything
seemed to be fine, I didn't need to come
in until eight weeks. That's about four
weeks after a missed af.
You can make a consult appointment anytime
during ttc to select your doctor and get
advice on ttc. The doctor will tell you
during the consult when they'd like your
first pre-natal visit.

My cycles are usually 26-28 days long but
have been as long as 35 days. I really
think we did it this month. I hope we
don't get disappointed.

mg22, I know exactly what you mean. I
don't know how I will take this
dissapointment...
The crazy thing is that if I do get a bfp,
I am still set to travel to north carolina
on the 21st for my new position with wor,
and that terrifies me too. I really want
to get my bfp this time, and avoid iui
next month. I was so good in detecting my
ovulation early and get right on it...
I got my fingers crossed for you and I and
everyone else who is in their 2ww. today
is my 5dpo...
baby dust all around...

Shortgeek- Yes, I have already had a
consultation appt with my ob/gyn. I am
taking the prenatals that were prescribed.
I have had some previous issues with cysts
and that resulted in a laporoscopy. I also
have a tipped uterus, high blood pressure,
and I also hive a high blood platlet level
and will need to discontinue the blood
thinners once I become pregnant (we will
have to see how my body handles it.) She
wants me to call as soon as I get a bfp so
that they can monitor me and make sure I
don't need to restart taking any of the
meds I am on now.
The reason I asked is a coworker was ttc
and was going in monthly for a blood test.
I was never offered this option and
wondered if it was common practice.
I have not began temping yet. My dh wants
it do be something that "just happens" He
doesn't want it to feel like a "science
experiment" (his exact words) Which,
believe me, Is very difficult.
Additionally, my cycles are so screwy I
know that I would just get frustrated
trying to temp.
Good luck to all. There seems to be a lot
of positive signs going around!

Not that it matters this month or the next
two, but I am in my 2ww for af not that
bfp. I was having mild cramping yesterday
and I took an opk and it was positive.
Now I am having even more cramping and
when I get home I am going to take another
opk. My goal these next three months is
to try to better predict my ovulation
using the opk, cm, and temping. I have
been temping this cycle and I just don't
know what to make of it at all. It's
kinda confusing. Also yesterday I had
some slightly watery ewcm and today it
seems to be the same. So who knows what's
going on with me.
Good luck to all of you in your tww.

So I caved...I took a test yesterday
morning. BFN. I don't know why I'm
disappointed. There was really no way it
could have been a BFP. So I guess it
really was just a stomach bug.
Anyways...who is next to test?

BFN is always a dissapointed and I am
sorry you had to go through that. I am in
my 8dpo and just today I started getting
slightly soar boobs. I have been
experiencing strange off and on cramping
but that is not very unusual for me, so I
am not letting that be a factor as far as
symptoms go. tonight I have a headache in
my right side of my head a face and that
is making me sick in my stomach. It feels
like a migrane. I dont know. I dont
think any of these relate to being
pregnant. My Af is not due til next
Wed....
How is everyone else doing?
MG, did you get your results?

you guys I just woke up andi it is 12:30
am. I just got a feeling. my bbs are
actually getting more soar (and that does
not usually happen)?and I didn't eat
anything to make me feel sick in my
stomach yet I am still not feeling right.
All very slight, but this feeling just
crawled in me...even though I have been
very pesemistic. Ok, so slightly soar
boobs, headache, little strange
cramps(gassy and af like) on and off,
moody, feeling a little nasea. The only
thing that is throwing me off is that my
cm is very dry!!! up til yesterday I had
creamy like!! Oh gosh I dont know...

That sounds really positive. Are you going
to wait until your due, or test ahead of
time?
