Total hip replacement: will tenderness pass? Posted: 04-06-07 09:49am
experiencing some tenderness when I first
get up and put weight on my hip. Goes
away after walking on it. 4 months after
surgery. Does this tenderness go
away?
It seems that your body still needs time
to get used to the new hip. Tenderness
that goes away after you start walking is
a problem that can be managed. But take
it slowly. The tenderness should pass in
time.
