I love .Jermaine but i really can't stand
the name .Mckenzie, i don't know why it's

I like jermaine but I like the traditional
french spelling of germaine.
Oh, wait. I think you mean "half-caste".
I think nowadays it's more acceptable to
say biracial or multiracial. I've seen
half-caste before but only in a derogatory
way.

"half-caste" has been common usage (non
derogatory) in the uk for a long time - I
see the original poster is a brummie girl
and so probably lives in a multi-racial
community herself.
I now tend to use the more americanised
terms in general life and end up having to
explain LOL
but yes, in this day of political
correctness - mixed race or
bi/multi-racial
