I want to go get myself checked out- I
have something that looks like a pimple or
ingrown hair but I want to be safe - but I
want to do it without my dad finding out.
I'm 15 and it would be REALLY
uncomfortable talking to him about this. I
live in Canada so I don't think I have to
pay anything but I'm scared.
What do I say on the phone? How to I let
them know what I want? How do I sit there
and let a complete stranger stare at my
vainga?!

I'm assuming you've never had an
appointment with an ob/gyn before.
Just call up your doctor and tell them you
want to have a pap smear and std test
done. This should be done every year once
you become sexually active, and sometimes
sooner.
As for letting "a complete stranger stare
at your vagina"... this is their job, and
they are very professional about it.
They've seen so many vaginas that it
probably doesn't even faze them anymore.
