Pregnancy Forum - Problem With Pregnancy And the Dh

He no longer wants to have sex because he feels like the baby knows... I know this is a normal thing that guys get when their wives get bigger and i told him, "do you remember being in your mom's tummy?" all the same he says he feels like shes watching him.. Is there anything that I can do?

I realize this is probably going to get moved but id love to hear advice from people who are going through the same thing or have gone through the same thing... Thanks guys!
i dont think i can last 14 more weeks with little to no sex and i know its just going to get worse the bigger i am.
sidenote he says he still is very very attracted to me he just keeps thinking of our daughter.. make sense?

Hun,i'm not sure there really is anything you *can* do.I would wait. . .lol,for real,he's gontta get hrney some time right?and he's gonna have to come and get him some! lol just keep reassuring him that the baby is fine and not to think about it! Wink

My husband has no problems about having sex while I'm pregnant. In fact, he thinks it's pretty hot Laughing

. But a lot of guys feel the same way your husband does. Which, if you think about it, is pretty funny because there is *no way* the baby can see or know what's going on. The cervix is closed and plugged with mucus, so nothing can get in or out. I don't know if there's anything you can do to make him feel better about it... just explain to him that the baby has no idea what's going on and that sex is in no way harmful to the baby. Good luck to you, i know i couldn't last the rest of my pregnancy with no sex!

maybe next time you go to the doctor,bring him with you and ask the doc in front of him if anything bad will happen!

LOL, what is he going to do after you have her and she's sleeping in the same room with you? Rest assured there will be a time when you think your baby is asleep, and you and him will start doing the deed and one of you will look over and see her. Shocked

I can relate. It could be worse, though. I was instructed by the doctor to have NO SEX until this baby is born due to pregnancy complications. I was first instructed at 13 weeks....now that is hard!

hahah omg id die!! im seriously like a 16 year old boy right now which is why this is so rough. Hes been to every doctors appointment.. I dont think hes afraid of hurting her its just the idea of it? who knows lol..shessh men..how does he think i feel when shes kicking me while were doing it lol.
im now really scared what hes going to be like after being in the delievery room............ well we did it this morning.. haha i guess it is true that i just have to wait until hes horney enough.. whats sad is he feels so bad about telling me that. errr i already am not a huge fan of pregnancy and this is making it worse.

.Dom is sex mad but won't have sex with me because he thinks something could happen. I've told him so many times that nothing is going to happen to .Mika, showed him books which say the same and even got my midwife to explain to him that nothing can go wrong but he just can't do it, he hates being able to feel his daughter while he's having sex

yeah i tried to have "a talk" about it last night..Didnt work ..damnit! haha i need to get laid!
hate to break it to him but come july when im dying for her to come out were doing it wheater he likes it or not.
