Hi, I'm currently 14 weeks 4 days pregnant
with my second child. After I had my
daughter in 2004 I had recurrent abnormal
paps so my OBGYN performed a LEEP. When I
got pregnant this time around I was told
that 2mm of my cervix was removed and
therefore not closed. My doctor is
waiting until I'm 18 weeks to send me to
the specialist to have my cervix measured.
What do you think my chances of actually
needing a cerclage are? I'm a single
mother and I really need to be working
right now, but I'm afraid that as soon as
I start working now then when I go for my
appointment in May they'll tell me I need
a cerclage and be on bedrest. Thanks in
advance for your help. I really know
nothing on this subject.
