Throat

hi, about 6 month ago i got a small pea size lump under the middle of my jaw on the right hand side,
at first this lump didnt bother me but then it started to become really painful, since then this pain has gone away for small periods and then come back again even worse,

now about 4 weeks ago the painkillers started having no effect at all and the small lump has now progressed to cover most of the underside of my right jaw, up behind my ear and completely down the right side of my windpipe, but only on the right hand side, it has not spread over to the left side at all, it is swollen and hurting really badly to the point where it is difficult to eat and also very difficult to drink liquids, sometimes my throat feels like it is closing in and it gets really hard to breath,

i hate doctors so wanted to get an ppinion first,

the swelling under my jaw and behind my ear isnt clearly visible you can see it but it doesnt look to bad, however it feels really swollen compared to my other side, this has als spread down to inbetween my collar bones and just above them,

please any info would be greatful

I would suggest you seek the advice of a doctor on this matter. No one on the internet can diagnose you.

Good luck!

DEFINITELY see a doctor! Could be swollen lymph nodes or swollen salivary glands. But see a doctor; I know you hate 'em but they are the ones with the answers you need on this. And let us know!
