I've been having a pain for a few years
now. Doctors cant seem to tell me whats
wrong.
After running about 1/4 mile, it feels as
if I'm being stabbed with a knife in my
side. I double over and literally
collapse. My breathing gets real loud,
sometimes I pass out. It usually goes away
within a few minutes, but it makes it very
hard to do track.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
-DD

This doesn't sound normal. Go to another
doctor (an internist doctor) until you
find out what's is going wrong. I would be
concerned you have a heart problem.

Thats what I was thinking, but its on my
lower side, not really around the heart.

where abouts is the exact location of the
pain, left or right?
Blacking out, this can be caused by not
enough blood to the brain or hypoglycemia
which means theres not enough glucose in
the blood to supply the brain.
perhaps visit a good exercise
physiologist?

It occurs in my lower side, in line with
my belly button. Usually on the left,
sometimes the right. I dont usually black
out though.

No, I dont eat or drink anything really.
And when I do, its the same as always.
I've seen a few doctors, a radiologist,
and an orthopedic. None of which can find
the problem.
