two schools of thought. they told us to
leave it alone. it fell of pretty
quickly, i was glad...i thought it was the
grossest thing that i had ever seen.

the past few days i have only been
cleaning it a few times a day. like 2 or
3. the rest of the times i just leave it
alone. the hospital told us to clean it
every time we change his diaper. which
seemed like a lot to me, haha.

I never cleaned .jersey's. I know i did
the boys, and i really don't know why i
didn't for her. Maybe i read something on

dude, it *does* succck! The hospital gave
me an anelgesic(numbing spray) and I had
to go get more from wal-greens!!!! lmao!!

As far as the cord, I never put anything
on .oni's. And I kept it.

Seriously, it didn't stink or have an
odor. it was blue!
I looked at it as the only/last thing that
symbolized me and my daughter as 1.
I wrapped it in a napkin and put it in a
ziploc baggie. It's in her keepsake box.
I plan on keeping all of my children's
cord stumps!

Ewww I thought it was the grossest
thing!!!! .Jaylon's fell off in the
night, so when I changed him, I just put
it right in the dirty diaper and circular
filed it.
His didn't smell either, not at all. That
would have made it even grosser

i was extremely grossed out by finn's cord
stump. his came off in his diaper and i
couldn't even look at it, i just wrapped
up the diaper and tossed it. it also
smelled like a rotting corpse the day
before it fell off, it was all i could
smell even when he was laying in my lap.
i'm so glad it fell off at 8 days, the
smell was so bad i wanted to rip it off
(not that i would have ever done that!).

that's so crazy! gabe doesn't smell &
it's still on & he's over 3 weeks old!
i want it to fall off so i can give him a
proper bath. he's getting stinky &
sponge baths can only do so much! lol

I kept Ava's. You're suppose to bury it
under a rose bush for your child to have
rosy cheeks. I just never buried it yet.
Mines is buried until my grandma's
neighbor's rose bush.
