: hello i suffer with ibs which i was told 13 months ago when i had colonoscopy done all so had endoscopy i have been getting real bad stomach pain which i thought was only the ibs but it got so bad i went to see my doctor and she said i have diverticulitis i have my pain on the right but allso in the middle it is worse after moving my bowels she give me antibiotics which i am into my 4th day now but do not feel any better can any one plz tell me how long it takes to clear thank you

i just had a episode and after 3 weeks it still hurts. i had no antibiotics though.
