Belly Button Pain After Gallbladder Surgery Posted: 04-07-07 18:49pm


I recently had gallbladder surgery larascopic method and now I seem to have pains on the left hand side of my belly button. It's almost like a pinched nerve feeling burning and kinda like stabbing pain.. Did this ever happen to anyone after surgery?

how long ago was your surgery? i just had mine done thursday, i am quite sore but no burning pains. some can be gas related. or even where ur sutured shut, if its been a while id check back with your dr though.

Hi there, it will be 2 weeks Tuesday that I had it removed. I was reading on another forum and I guess the pain is normal I guess they cut through muscles near the belly button and it's nerve endings that are healing kinda makes sense. I am going to make an appt to make sure though just to be safe.. How are you healing?
