Help For a Worrier..
Posted: 04-07-07 21:57pm

I've been on Yaz for about a month now. Taking my last one of the first pack tonight, actually.

About 4 days ago, my boyfriend and i had sex without a condom, but he didn't cum inside me. It was my first time. (wonderful experience, btw. being 20 and a virgin, it was a long time coming.) This was about 2 days before i started the inactive pills.

So as I said, I've had 3 of the inactive pills and no real period yet. I've sort of felt that crampy sort of feeling that I'm about to start. I'm very lightly spotting, but that's it. I'm just wondering if this is normal, or if something else is going on.

I'm just a bit of a worrier, so anything will be a great help!

Pills like Yaz,[low dose] are known to cause shorter and lighter periods, some women even do not have periods while using the pill. This is not as typical, but not unheard of.

Pregnancy actually takes weeks to fully happen, it is not instant, you are not actually pregnant the day after sex.. ALSO, pregnancy symptoms do not occur until 5-6 weeks of pregnancy..Obviously you would not be far enough along to actually have them.

Most likely, it is simply because of the pill.
