Am I Pregnant After 7 Days of Microgyn? Posted: 04-09-07 08:07am
I've recently started taking microgynon 30
and i've followed the instructions word
for word. (taking the first pill on the
first bleeding day of my period, taking
the pills at the same time of day etc). I
take them same time everyday. I dont use
any other form of contreception mainly
because as a couple it is prefered and it
says your over 99% protected. Ive heard
some hellish stories about woman taking it
religiously and STILL getting pregnant. Im
very scared and confused. I had sex during
the 7 day break then got emergancy
contreception 22hrs later due to my
paranoid thoughts. I have had some
brownish discharge and slight period
pains...am i ok? Not pregnant right? Does
anyone know what the signs would be if you
were pregnant yet still taking the
pill...???
Thank you...please help

You are probably not pregnant, especially
due to the emergency contraceptive you
used. The spotting is most likely due to
the ec or the pills. Many women spot
during their first few months.
