If Breastfeeding Is So Wonderful............................ Posted: 04-10-07 04:42am
I
am a 33 yr old mom of 2. Samuel is 2 &
Olivia 10 mths. I breast fed with both
kids. I heard that it helps the bonding
process & etc. However, no one
bothered to tell me that it would leave me
disfigured.....can you say SKIN? my boobs
are gone I have nothing but skin
there....its totally embarrassing & i
need a boob job asap!! I barely fit a a
cup. do i need to go back to training
bras? i dont even want bigger boobs, just
something to fill my bra LOL. by no means
do i regret breast feeding but all those
years i chose not to wear a bra makes me
think that I would have a lil more than
now. LOL im not comfortable in bed w/ my
honey. no he is not allowed to touch
casue........whats there to touch? LOL any
opinions or help especially if there is a
medical condition out there in regards to
ruined boobs 101 let me know LOL, does
ins. help pay for soemthing like this? is
there a cream? a magic lamp ?
where your boobs always small? just
wondering, i breastfed my daughter. not
very long but still , i was an A before
getting pregnant now a 36 B. i dont think
breastfeeding will disfigure you prob the
age thing might be helping a bit. your the
first ive read of having problems like
that after breastfeeding. i dont know that
insurance would cover any kind of surgery.
depends on the situation i suppose though

I breastfed my daughter and I am
breastfeeding my son now. My boobs are
freakin huge! Even when I'm not BF, my
boobs are big.
and believe me it's no fun either.
I would have to agree with the PP, you
are 33, gravity is taking its toll. I'm
not being mean at all, I'm 35, so I know.
I'm sure your hubby loves you regardless.

I kind-of know how you feel. My breasts
are on the smaller side and after
breastfeeding, my areolas seem to be
really stretched. At times it can feel
like they are disfigured, but I have
mostly gotten used to it. I think that
once the nursing ends then we do not have
as much there to fill out the remaining
skin. And I personally don't think that
age is a factor, I am still in my 20's. I
think it has more to do with how much
bigger your breasts get while pregnant and
nursing. Even though I am normally on the
smaller side of the size spectrum once my
hormones kick in, I always end up being
fairly larger than most others. As far as
your husband goes, I'm sure he would not
judge you and love you just as you are...
after all you cared for his children.
I've talked to my husband about my
insecurites and honestly I don't think he
even sees what I see. I'm like you in
that I don't really want to have larger
breasts, just more attractive ones. I've
looked into it and there is a procedure
that can be done where doctors can remove
skin around the areola and make it
smaller, maybe this would help. I am
considering talking to my doctor about it
once I am sure I am not going to be having
anymore little ones. Just hang in there
and know that you are not the only one and
that there are things that can be done
about this.

my boobs were small before and now they're
smaller and very very very sad. I hate
them. I am already looking into
reconstructive surgery but am going to
wait til I have my next kid, then go for
it.

Same thing happened to me after my first
child. My breasts were D cup and after I
dried up, they shrunk to almost a B. I was
no longer perky!!
Now I am back up to a D cup (probably
bigger) being 25 weeks pregnant. Who knows
what will happen now. I had stretch marks
on my boobs from the first one.
