I am wondering if I have miscarried and wont know for sure for a couple more days and am going crazy waiting to hear results from my dr. I went in for my first appt mar 28 and the dr had a hard time seeing the heartbeat but eventually was able to find it. i had to go in for blood work monday but sunday I had some light spotting so went to the dr before the blood work and this time she couldnt find the heartbeat at all. she said to go get my levals tested, which I did. They caled today saying the leval was 56,000 and while that was normal I would have to go give more blood tomorrow so they could see if the leval was dropping or going up. Ive not spotted anymore since sunday but Im a nervous wreck not knowing one way or the other. I wont know more til Thur afternoon.
Please does anyone have any similar experinces like this? The Dr didnt either know or wouldnt say if Ive miscarried so Im so upset with just having to wait.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi there,

You won't know until you get the results back from your next blood work. I would try to relax, keep your feet up and try to do what you can to keep your mind off of the pregnancy. Please let us know once you find out. How far along are you?

I was 6 weeks at the first visit and just about 7 weeks now. The Dr said the first time it was hard to see the heartbeat because the baby was "hiding" and when she couldnt find it this time said maybe the baby was hiding and thats why she couldnt find it. I just didnt know if this was really a possibility or not, Id never heard of the this so I didnt know if this was possible. My Dr didnt mention miscarriage but I dont know what else to think when there is no heartbeat found"
Thanks to anyone who knows something aout this.

was your Dr looking on a vaginal u/s? as hard as it is try not to stress yet. wait until you get your second set of blood back. it could be just like the Dr said. and a little spotting isn't too much to worry about as long as you tell your Dr about it. if you bleed and have cramping (or i had a very bad low back pain) then call the Dr right away. try and keep busy until you get the results back. it will hopefully be a sigh of relief!
