I just put Ava down for a nap for maybe the 3rd time ever since she's born. She's 5 months now. She was really tired, so by the time I picked her up and walked from the kitchen to our room she was almost asleep. I put her down a little awake and just patted her booty until she closed her eyes. It's been 20 minutes and counting. I'm so nervous she'll wake up at any minute. I put her down last night at my sister in law's house. We were playing poker. She slept for an hour even with a house full of noisy people. She's also letting us rock her every now and then. Oh and this morning she woke up at 8:30. I stayed in bed and just let her play, well next thing I know it's 10:15. She fell back asleep by herself. Those of you who know the trouble I've had with her to go to sleep will understand my excitement!!!

I just went check on her for the 230390284 time. The covers are off of her and she's not in the same position. Usually when she moves around she wakes up. When I went in there her little fingers were moving. I bet she's getting ready to wake up.

I started putting her down today b/c I don't want to nap with her anymore. We sleep all night. The first morning nap is fine, I look forward to it, but the other three aren't. I feel like crap if I make myself sleep that much.

Bridget, my house is a mess, the bills need to be paid. I have a crap load to do. I'm just getting use to this freedom. It might take me a few days. I don't want to wake her, so I don't want to make noise. We use a noise machine to drown out the noise from outside, but I'm still paranoid. It's a good excuse to come on here and not do housework. I can do this in silence. lol

Nap #2 in the bed alone.
I put her down asleep at 4:20, let's see.
I'm going fold clothes and make myself useful.
