Vanessa, you seem to be doing really well lately.

I am at 40 pounds now at 32 weeks. I went swimming yesterday. The doctor is allowing me to swim!! I haven't been able to do any exercise for a while.
It's quite the experience being in water for an hour and feeling light, then getting out and having a lot of difficulty walking because you weigh so darn much. I just couldn't believe the difference. Now I want to live in water!!
I will be going swimming at least a few times a week until the baby makes his arrival...or until my swimsuit decides to rip. I have a maternity swimsuit size small from my last pregnancy and quite frankly...it's a wee bit small

Oh my gosh. I'm at 48 pounds weight gain. I was in bed for part of my pregnancy though so I'm not letting myself feel bad about it. And now that I'm all recovered, when I try to be more active I get swollen ankles and high blood pressure and the doc tells me to take it easy. I've eaten pretty healthy through the whole thing, but at certain times we were eating take out and that kind of thing because I wasn't well enough to cook or I was too busy studying for exams. My thighs are truly a sight to behold in awe. I want to go swimming but I'm afraid they'll report a beached whale when they see me coming! Rolling Eyes
