Shaving Pubic Hair
Posted: 04-11-07 20:47pm

Hey, I always prefer to have no hair down there, and before it wasn't such a big deal because I wasn't having sex so much that I felt like I needed to shave it more than once a week, but now I'm having sex more frequently and I really would prefer to have it smooth all the time, but the thing is I have to have longer hair to get it smooth, otherwise it's hairless but kind of stubbly (much like a man facial hair) does anyone have any (inexpensive) ideas or suggestion on what to do ?

Waxing really isn't that expensive, and the nice thing about that is how long it lasts; plus, the more you get it done, the finer the hair becomes - unlike shaving which makes things thicker! It may even stop growing all together. I'd stop growing too, if someone yanked me out every month! Haha!

Hey, it could be a post-period cleansing thing you do each month :3

waxing is okay as long as you can stand pain well. Ouch the thought of waxing makes me cringe. If not then just buy some hair removal like nair.

I do not use Nair, so I certainly could be wrong, but I thought the bottle says not to use it on pubic hair? Maybe that has changed over the years, or maybe it is just some kinds of Nair or something, but at any rate, I'd read the bottles carefully before buying. We're talking about a sensitive area here!

I do the same thing..i wish that i never had any hair down there, in my arm pits and my legs. i shave my arm pits every time i take a shower and my legs every other time..i have the same problem with saving down there as well. i often do it too much and it causes the bumps which arent as nice feeling or looking lol.

well ive never gotten waxed before BUT i have over 10 tattoos and 10 piercings..so im wondering if anyone has gotten waxed down there and if its at all comparable to that pain..because if it is then im set to go. i know my hubby would like it Smile and also how much it normally runs for some of you.

thanks

nair should not be used on sensetive areas, besides the fact that your pubes are too strong and thick to use nair.Waxing is not htat bad.after the first time it hurts less and you get use to it.I get waxed exery month and a half!

i too wished to never have hair on my armpits, my legs and most of the pubic hair. Then I made my wish come true and got laser hair removal on every part. I began with the pubic, then did my legs and my armpits. To those who can affort it, since it is quite expensive, go for it! I love it to wake up everyday and be completetly smooth Smile

well it cost me about 1 thousand for the bikini (this price depends on how much you want taken off, it could be much less if you just want 2 inches off (about $500) Then I paid like another one grand for the legs and armpits together which that was pretty good deal. You need to shop around and look for offers.

I've had a wax a few times but just couldn't be bothered to go every 8 weeks so started shaving. I've given up now though because being 30 weeks pregnant tommorow it's quite hard to do it and i don't fancy blindly waving a razor down below!

you couldn't be bothered to get waxed *once* every other month but would shave once a week?I think waxing would be more convenient. . .

I had to travel for an hour to get there first. if it was closer to home i would have carried on but travelling for an hour got annoying when i could just sit in the bath for a couple of mins

depends where you go.It coted me $35 to get it almost all off except for a strip.it's $40 for everyting, but I wouldn't recommend that because the closer they get to your bunny, the more it hurts!
