You haven't seen us claim that, because its not true. So before you go flying off the handle, realize one important thing: Pro-choice is aware that the zef is "alive". How can it not be? An egg is alive and a sperm is alive. Two living things doesn't equal something dead.

However, pro-choice is capable of realizing when someone's life is worth more than another's.

Moving on, most women don't regret their abortions.

Not really. I think you need to go check out the topic on the pro-choice forum. You can't post there, but you can read. And you can see. you can see the pictures of what embryos and fetuses actually look like from the stages most common to abort in. If you think any of those look like a born baby, you need glasses. Reality glasses.

excuse me but im 16 weeks pregnant and at 13 weeks my ultrasound showed a baby with an alien head, but you couls still tell it was a baby

True, you have the right to say whatever you like. But if you want people to take you seriously, you should state facts, and not make wide accusations, most of which are false.

i nver made any false acusations and if i did would you please tell me what it was? i said a fetus has a heartbeat IT DOES AND THATS A FACT i said they need nutrienst to grow THATS A FACT...thats how its all started what was falsE?

The part about it looking like a born baby isn't true.

The part about it not being responsible isn't a fact, it's an opinion, so it has no moral value when it comes to true or false.

Yes, fetuses need nutrients, but it's not like drinking a glass of water and crap.

Oh, and, since people tend to use "fetus" a little too broadly... lets return to the more proper "zef" which stands for zygote, embryo and fetus. Most abortions occur when the potential person is an embryo anyway.

And there isn't always a heartbeat. That doesn't instantly start you know.

Even when there is a "heartbeat", it's a very primitive set up. Two epithelia tubes pumping blood. It isn't a full-fledged four chambered heart.

I give up. No amount of scientific proof is going to change their "emotional" attachment to thinking zefs are mini-babies. It's just never going to work. I know we have changed a few people's minds on here.. and that makes me feel good.

See, I don't even care to change their mind about fetuses....it's fine to view them as babies or feel an emotional attachment. I know I will when I get pregnant. I'm not going to push my perception or feelings on other people though.

I don't want to force my view. I want to maintain my rights. Pro-choicers do not go into churches and lobby. Only pro-life goes where they are not welcome. Pro-choice lets people chose for themselves. Pro-life tries to remove the right of a woman to control her body; pro-life tries to imply that it knows what is better for a woman than she does. Pro-life thinks women are stupid. Pro-choice knows women are smart enough to choose.

We're also not trying to do that.

We simply do not want young impressionable women believing the lie that a zef looks like a newborn from the moment of conception; and much of the pro-life propaganda out there tries to imply or outright state (and lie) about this.

I never said it was a fact that the fetus is a parasite. I said it was a fact that it is like one and very similar in many ways.
