Please Help!! Pain 24/7 Gall Bladder?
Posted: 04-13-07 19:26pm

Okay this is my story...for 7 months now i have been dealing with this pain under my right side of my chest. I am about 98% sure now it is my gall bladder.
Before this thing started i was a size 15 and weighed 180 pounds. Since this thing has started I am now 7 months later size 1/2 and 130 pounds.
All my tests have come back that nothing is wrong with me. Seen every doctor known to man and they wont' do anything because all the tests come back that everything was okay.
One test though, nuclear test..the guy who was doing it concluded that i had an overactive gall bladder. But the guy who read the thing said nope everything is perfectly normal.
On a good day my pain is between a 7/8 but can go as high as a 12 on a scale of 1-10. No medications work...not pain medicine, not muscle relaxers.
I am about at my witts end. I don't know what to do! I AM NOT doing anything to lose the weight, no exercise, no dieting. But i can only eat very little because about 10-15 minutes after i eat it aggrivates it. And tests on my stomach came back all normal, back end is all normal too. kidney, no stones, intestines all good. liver perfect.
I have been getting for the past 3-4 months where i feel like i am gonna faint, but i don't...is this do to the pain, i am not sure.
Please anyone with advice i would really appreciate it!
I do not know what to do, been to 3 different hospitals and way too many doctors and all of them have given up on me.

Im sorry to hear you are in so much pain. You must be fusterated with so many Dr's giving up on you. Is it possible to see a specalist or a different specalist in the field. Im sure you have tried all these thing but im not to sure what else to suggest.

Good Luck

I have three suggestions:

The first is to locate a gastroenterologist who specializes in liver diseases. Perhaps they need to repeat the Hydascan.

The second is to ask your doctor for referral to a pain management specialist. Even if you have no diagnosis, you still have pain. Patients have a right to appropriate pain control. A pain management specialist can help find a combination of meds and treatment that provide relief.

Last, you might think about contacting an acupuncturist for assistance.

Good luck
