Are expired birth control pills effective? Posted: 04-14-07 03:31am
I have been taking expired birth control
pills and just noticed. The expiration
date was Jan/07. Are they still effective?
If so for how long? I got a year supply
that end in July and my last packs are
also expired..Should I throw those
out?

After the expiration date a birth control
pill’s effectiveness probably decreases.
You can throw out all the pills with an
expired date.
