Temple Pulses When Trying to Sleep Posted: 04-14-07 21:15pm
I have come to realize that I can't sleep
on my back or stomach, I have to sleep on
my side or I will toss and turn for hours.
There is one problem though, when I try to
sleep on my side, I have these pulses
throughout my temples. I try to ignore
them though I do not have much luck and it
is actually beginning to worry me.
I do not know much about this at all or
where to begin looking. I've asked a few
people just to see what their opinions
were and they said that they dont feel
anything like that when they sleep on
their sides.
The pulses get pretty bad when trying to
sleep; they deminish after about 30
minutes or so of mindlessly resting but if
I switch sides or look up to see the time
and put my head on the pillow, they start
up again.
Due to this, I have not been sleeping very
well and I am often drained when waking
up. Infact, I feel fatigued throughout the
whole day now, though I am not sure if
that is connected. I just wanted to ask on
the forum to see if anything could be done
or even given an idea of what it could be?

you have an anxiety and just tired, thats
why your pressure going up. ask your
physician to prescribe you a
remeron(mirtazapine) or find a mild
relaxant(valeriana)to help you out of
this. And learn relaxation techniques.
Good luck

I had a similar problem and the doctor
prescribed Atenonol to relax my heart. My
problem ended up being all related to high
blood pressure so now I don't suffer as
much as I used to.
