Magazines or a book you would enjoy
deodorant, shower gel, shampoo,
toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash or
whatever you like to shower with. The
hospital I went to provided them, but they
were cheap
Bathrobe, slippers, and nighty, one that
opens in the front if you plan to BF
Birth announcements?
Gum or candy, my mouth got so dry
Camera
Calling card, if your family is long
distance from the hospital,
clothes to go home in. I wore the ones I
was admitted in, as I still had a tummy
This is all I can think of now, I'm
drawing a blank. Geez it was only 3 weeks
4 days ago

Not that i've had my bubbs yet but one
extra thing i'm planning on taking with me
apart from the obvious is an ipod full of
songs that can calm me etc when it gets
really bad

I brought a photo of my oldest child when
I went to have my second. I took lavender
essential oil and some meditation and yoga
music on my MP3 player. I also packed an
extra outfit for my husband, because I
knew he would forget and then be messy
with baby goo and afterbirth, and then
he'd want to leave me to go change. I
took movies to watch with baby #1 because
I figured I would want some distraction
early on, and I had to be induced, so I
had to be there for the whole thing. For
baby #2 I never had time for anything.

I've asked my sister the same thing. This
is what she did:
3 sleepsuits
3 babygros
Scratch mittons
Socks or booties
2 outfits
Hat
Bottles if you're bottle feeding (this
depends on your hospital, they could
supply milk and bottles but each one is
different)
Nappies
Wipes
Urrm that's all i can remember at the
moment i'm sure i've proberly missed
something out though lol

lol okie dokie. so far i have two little
baby baby gro's with matching vests,
mittens, hat and bibs for the very first
outfits to take in my hospital bag as when
i went for my 12 week scan they said the
baby looked much smaller than s/he
should've been but that its common in
people our age. so to buy some little baby
things.

i'm sorry, i don't really know what baby
gro's or vests are.
but this is what i packed for my baby... 2
sleepers, 2 onesies, a hat, a blanket, a
pacifier, a couple diapers and wipes.
my hospital provided diapers and wipes and
bottles of pre-made formula. they also
kept him dressed in a long sleeve shirt
and diaper and swaddled all the time, so i
didn't bring clothes for him to wear in
the hospital. i just brought the 2
sleepers, 1 to wear home and 1 in case he
soiled the first one. i think i had
mittens but forgot about them, he
scratched his face as we were pulling out
of the parking lot.
now my bag was a different story, i had a
ton of stuff. everyone's already listed
the important stuff, i'll just repeat
bring your
own pillow.
