Boils are most often due to a bacterial
infection of the hair follicle. Antibiotic
cream is often prescribed as a treatment
alternative for boils. Blackheads are
typical on the face, and especially the
nose. Are you sure that those
“blackheads” are not the hairs’
roots? You may consult your primary health
provider or a dermatologist for an expert
opinion.

If you shave, these 'boils' may be due to
ingrown hairs.
