So i've been lurking this site for a day
or so now and i have to say first off that
i am very happy to see that there are
still people out there who are such great
humans as to help complete strangers get
through their problems no matter how
ridiculous or far fetched the worrying may
be.
Now to my issue...
As i've read in the sticky and heard
resaid dozens of times it is possible to
get pregnant from pre-ejaculation.
However most of what i have read and known
for a while now is that pre-ejaculation is
simply lubricant and that the only
presence of sperm is because of previous
ejaculations leaving sperm clining to the
urethra. It's genereally accepted by most
people who understand the scientific
research done to prove this that if
urination occurs before sexual intercourse
it kills/washes out most of these left
over, making the chances of pregnancy very
very minimal.
Me and my girlfriend have been sexually
active for about a month now and we have
sex once or twice every weekend (different
schools makes for weekend time only, long
distance is tricky haha). When we get
into it we usually have sex for less than
a minute without a condom then slip one on
before we really get heated then proceed
to go for however long until i finish in
the condom (yes always careful, always put
it on correctly always check for breaks,
never an issue).
She has long cycles roughly 35 days or so
each time, sometimes later...she's a day
late and of course i am a total slave to
anxiety and i am nervous that she could be
pregnant. I dont worry for myself because
i know that whatever her decision is this
were to ever happen i would support her
100 percent, she's the love of my life. I
am worried because she has so much
potential and so much left to do before
she's ready to settle down and have a
family, i dont want this to get in the
way.
I am not asking for a lecture on how
pre-ejaculation can get you pregnant, more
like a realistic idea of how likely it is,
i know its possible, but how likely, im
just looking for some piece of mind here.
Needless to say shes ready for birth
control come june and until then i'm going
to change our sexual habits so i dont have
to be anxious like this. But any piece of
mind from the great minds here would be
well appreciated

not trying to be rude at all, but all you
really need to know is that it is
possible to get pregnant from it, and
instead of worrying about how likely it
is, just wear a condom the entire time
instead of going at it for a few minutes
without one.
if you're worried about her getting
pregnant then have protected sex the
entire time, it's silly not to.

just to say that my son was concieved with
pre-cum....
you seem like a sensible man with a good
understanding of the world so all you can
really do is ask your girlfriend to take a
pregnancy test and see what the result is.
now that she has missed her period it
should give an accurate result.
good luck and i hope you will use a
condom the whole time in future i know how it can
be in the heat of the moment though

i really appreciate all the replys and
even the bluntness (not rudeness). She's
2 days late now, but needless to say im
still pretty worried. I'm trying to
rationalize this thought and figure that
she's probably late because we're both
worrying and she's stressed from school
and its only natural for a period to
fluctuate etc etc as i've read many many
times over.
We've talked and decided that once we get
through this we're gonna wait a month to
have sex when she's on the pill we both
dont want to go through this especially
with the high stress school situations
we're both in. She leaves for 10 days for
germany on friday so we're both sort of
praying it comes before then so we dont
worry for 10 straight days that we're not
in contact, but we're going to take a test
come thursday if she doesnt get it by
then.

came today HUGE weight off my shoulders.
i know how it can
be in the heat of the moment though
