condoms then. but when i restartedd taking
it after about a week of taking it we
stopped using condoms and just rely on the
pill. when i slept round his we then had
sex in the morning, before i had taken my
pill. i dont always take it the same time,
i usually take it when i wake up so about
8/9 but on this day itk it about half
10/11. so i was worried incase i wasnt
covered.

havent come on yet so me and my bf had sex
today, my packet has ran out, but i should
still be covered right? what do ya think

If you have taken it for a week, then you
should be ok. However, taking it at the
same time every day is really important.
If you take it at different times it is
less effective, but usually they say
within 3 hours. If it is the mini-pill
(progesterone only) then you have to be
even more careful, because as much as an
hour will make your chances of getting
pregnant soar. What kind of pill are you
on?
No one can say for sure what your chances
are, but I do know that taking the pill at
different times makes it less effective.
