Can you still get an epidural if you have a tattoo on your lower back or any where else for that matter?

Yep having a tattoos makes no difference, 3 of my sister's friends have had an epi with tattoos on their back. the only reason i can think of for why they wouldn't let you is if it was new perhaps but i doubt that very much

it's a big myth that you can't get an epidural if you have a tattoo on your lower back. they used to think it would be harmful or something. totally untrue.

i have a pretty large tattoo allll across my lower back & they didn't even say anything about it when they gave me my epi. so you're fine!
