HELLO, MY HUSBAND AND I ARE TRYING TO HAVE A BABY. WE HAD INTERCOURSE THE DAY I WAS OVULATING, WHICH WAS APRIL 9,2007. I THINK I MIGHT BE PREGNANT. YESTERDAY I HAD CRAMPS LIKE I WAS GOING TO START BUT IT'S WAY TOO EARLY FOR THAT. MY BREAST AREN'T REALLY TENDER BUT I AM HAVING PAINS IN THEM. WHAT DO YOU THINK? COULD I BE PREGNANT? IF SO WHEN IS THE EARLIEST I SHOULD TAKE A TEST TO FIND OUT? I AM VERY ANXIOUS TO FIND OUT BUT I DONT WANT TO WASTE A TEST SINCE THEY AREN'T CHEAP! PLEASE HELP! THANKS

Tests are generally most effective the day you miss your period. So I would, at least, wait until the day of your missed period before testing. Good luck to you!
