I Think Im Pregnant Please Help!!!

Over the past 2 years ive had many
problems with birthcontrol and ive
switched with my doctors advise around
with many things.. i got so frustrated
with unexpected periods that i just stoped
taking them to hopefully "balance"
everything out..
Lately ive been feeling extreamly sick,
tired all the time, my boobs are swallon
and my nipples are sore. Im very bloated
and gasy. I have a feeling im pregnant..
Today when i got home from school (yes im
only 17) I felt so tired i went to sleep
and woke up feeling extreamly sick. I
couldnt move or laydown without the
feeling of throwing up.. I had to miss
work and they told me I need a doctors
note..
So my mom made an apointment with urgent
care.. And now im super scared.. I dont
want to face my mom yet.. I am lost and
confused on what to do.. PLEASE HELP!!! I
NEED ADVISE

Hi Sweetie, If you were my daughter I
would want for you to tell me. Thats what
Mothers are for, to be there for you in
times like these. Can you not talk to your
Mother? I know you are scared and confused
and i do hope things turn out well for
you. As you stated you are only 17. Keep
us posted!

if you're having problems with birth
control how come you didn't just use
condoms? they're better than nothing...
or did you use condoms?
if you are pregnant then you're going to
have to tell your mom sooner or later, and
maybe this is for the better! if you do it
at the doctors office then you won't be
alone and maybe she won't blow up if she's
mad since she'll be in a public place,
& plus.. you'll have some help! just
think, you're going to have to do it
sooner or later, and sooner is better,
maybe think tonight of ways you could
break it to her?
how come you don't just go get a pregnancy
test?

There's a funny thing about thinking you
might be pregnant. As soon as you suspect
you might be, you begin feeling all kinds
of symptoms. The funny thing is, you
probably would be feeling these things
anyway and just dismiss it.
Wait until you miss your period, and then
get a pregnancy test. If you can't get one
on your own (they sell them at the dollar
store, but maybe you don't have a way to
get there) you can go to your local
.planned .parenthood and they will test
you for free without telling your
parents.

my mom and I arent close at all. And when
i say not at all i mean i never talk to
her. and she refers to where i live as her
and her husbands place and i am temperarly
staying here. - Needless to say I went
down to urgent care and spilled everything
to the doctors and it was very
uncomfortable.. I thought maybe spilling
everything to some one i dont know might
be easy.. I was wrong I was a mess.. So
since I dont know when my last period
was.. How would a pee sample detect if it
was before my next period? It came back
negative so far they said but they did say
that it might not have detected it. We use
condoms. but the thing with them is they
break.  I know if you think
your pregnant you might come up with
symptoms. Yet i didnt mean it like i think
i am. I ment I feel like I am. - even
though i never have been pregnant I still
had a weird feeling. Now im just waiting
for my period. Thanks everyone for the
advise..

The symptoms for pregnancy aren't
exclusive to pregnancy. That's what the
problem is. People get nauseated all the
time. People get tired all the time - only
when you think you might be pregnant, it
can feel like you can barely stand you're
so exhausted. People pee all the time  and when your
bladder isn't empty, you can feel it - and
it can feel like you "always" have to go.
And so on and so on. Does that make sense
at all? I know how you feel, trust me. I'm
98% sure that .i'm not pregnant and yet
it's always in the back of my head. As
long as you have a sense that you "could
be", you'll forever notice these symptoms.
It would be much easier if we as women
felt things that were only felt during
pregnancy - like if our skin turned bright
purple or something obvious like that.

haha. i think purple skin might be a
little to ovious. However at least Then
everyone and their brother will no. which
isnt a bad thing. - at least we wouldnt go
threw all the stress in wondering. Plus
many people wouldnt have to be scared of
telling people. They would be just like..
well your looking a little purplish..
Being Pregnant is such an amazing thing.
& A baby its self is something so
special. One thing I will always think, no
matter what, a baby is always perfect.

like sure I didnt try and have a baby. But
i really started to get excited for it..

so its been 7 days since ive gone to the
doctor.. and I still have yet to get my
period.. The only problem is I have not
one clue when i was spose to get it.. all
i know is I havent at all yet this month..
Im not as nervous anymore. My boobs are
still sore. =/ which is rather unpleasant.
I was just wondering when i should test
again.. Ive been just waiting and seeing
if I would get my period. any
ideas?

do you have anyone close you can tell? A
friend or sibling maybe. You could try
talking to the counsler at school. They
can help you decide waht to do and maybe
even help you tell your parents.
Im close to my brother and when i found
out i was pregnant, i told him first ( in
a letter). Yea he was disappointed, but
he got over that and helped me tell my
parents ( at a resturant, to hopefully
lessen the yelling).

a letter sounds nice. It must of been one
heck of a letter to recieve.  well.. I have my
boyfriend who of course ill talk to
first.. weve been together for 5 years..
& has really always been there for me.
My sisters are close to me too.. my sister
had a kid when she was 16.. hopefully she
will help me out and my family will be as
suportive. Thanks so much for the advise!!

I will. I told my family yesterday &
today. They all were very supportive &
sweet. Im very happy. I definetly feel
more at ease. thank goodness. Even my
little sister (shes 4) was like Tricia
when is your baby coming outta your tummy?
I was like around christmas and shes like
Okayyy. I love Tricias baby. IT WAS VERY
CUTE!!. So i am very lucky!! Ill definelty
keep pictures posted!! & thanks for
the congrats
