No Glasses!

[Sorry, this post is kinda vain]
I'm wearing contacts today for the first
time in aaaaaages, and it's still really
weird getting used to it. I went through a
phase of wearing them every time I went on
nights out (the prescription is weaker
than my glasses and on nights out it
doesn't matter) but today I randomly felt
like wearing them. The words I'm typing
are a *tad* blurry.. but hey.. I have
peripheral vision and I love it!!
I'm still not totally convinced I look as
good without my glasses.. I've worn them
since I was 7 and everyone goes "you look
so weird without them!" which doesn't
really help. But I took some pics so you
can see just how "weird" I look.

You look really different and I think
that's what people mean by 'weird' - i
think you look gorgeous, you look older
without them (older in a good way )
Get yourself down to Specsavers and get
your prescrition updated - they do a free
trial!

you're beautiful either way zanny.
not many people could get away with
glasses like you do, but yours really suit
you.
I think your glasses accentuate your eyes
and you have really beautiful eyes.
I don't think you look wierd with or
without, I'm just used to seeing you with
is all.
I hear ya on the peripheral vision things,
Steve used to wear contacts all the time
but now he mostly wears his glasses. I
love him with his glasses on (well I love
him anyway but yeah), but within a couple
hours of him switching back to contacts I
don't even notice it anymore.

with or without glasses you're beautiful!
my parents both wear glasses and they
tried contacts for a while and they looked
"weird" just because i'd seen them in
glasses all my life.

You are one of those really lucky people
that look really great with glasses,
especially the darker thick frame that you
have.
But, you look absolutely stunning without
them. You do look older with no glasses.

You look amazing without them. I can
finally see your eyes! I have said this
before your glasses were too heavy for
your face and dark...I think you look
amazing!

your eye make up now!!!
ANd your eyes are soo blue!
I like the glasses, but I like the
contacts better!!
could one be inside out, and that's the
reason it's kinda blurry?

Yup they're real.. I use two different
kinds of mascara.. one to separate and
lengthen them, and another to thicken
them. Doing my eye make-up is my own lil
ritual.. and I have to do it before .Jenny
wakes up otherwise I'd never get time to
do it!
And thank you so much .Sarah.. my right
contact was inside out!! I put my
hand over my left eye and everything was
really blurry.. so I took it out, turned
it inside out and ta-da! Much better
vision!! I thought it was just because I
need to get new ones.. but having them the
wrong way round really doesn't help!
Haha!
Thank you again for all the lovely
comments!
