I feel you on the wedding dress. I cried
when I tried on a size 6 (which is what I
normally wear) and that was *not*
happening.  I
ended up with a size 10. Which is the size
the put on the maniquins (sp). It took me
a while to come to terms with it. I
seriously bawled. I was like I even lost
weight for the wedding...how did this
happen?

guess you could fit into a size 8 dress,

I could *barely* breathe in the 16!!! Talk
about a let down! But I refused to go up a
size, because I was *determined* to lose
at least 10lbs before the
wedding!
I only plan on gettin married once.
Getting into a wedding dress is a workout
in itself!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, they look so pretty and dainty.
But they are heavy. I broke two regular
hangers before I found the industrial
hanger it came on. If I had been a little
more shacky that day...I would have fallen
over like a feather. And
it was strapless, I was paranoid the
entire day that it was going to fall down
because it was so heavy. Luckily it had a
bra like band on the inside that held it
in place or it would have gone down.

I'd have put you at a UK size 10 (ish) I
think that's US size 8??

our flat (apartment) isn't like that, but
when it's nice we can open the office
windows (back) and lounge (front opposite
end) and get a lovely through breeze.
Are you going to be there long term or is

Thanks everyone. wanna know my secret? I
do lifts with .oni as my weight. I always
have. I basically bench press her no less
than 50 times a day. It's part of the
"baby excercises/palates" I've been doin.
And I walk my dog. That's all. Very very
cheap! No gym!
And yea .kia, I'm a lot of muscle.
Seriously, my arms are very muscular, and
I've been working on my legs. All that's
left is the excess skin from the
stretchies on my belly!
A lot of the weight I've lost since
meeting .mel has been in my face. ANd my
stomach.
I'm hoping that this is just a short stop.
I'm going to start working *immedietly*
after the wedding, and save my entire
check to put towards a house house. I
don't like renting. It *blows*!!!

I hear that wedding dress sizes run alot
smaller than regular clothing...or at
least that is what the lady told my cousin
when she was shopping for her wedding
dress. I was her maid of honor and am
normally a size 5/6 and I had to get a
size 12 dress....so something is obviously
whacked with the sizing!!!

Something is seriously different with
wedding dress sizes. I heard that before
trying on my wedding dress. I was normally
a size 5/6 and had to buy a size 10. I
squished myself into that dress, too.

It's becoming that way with jeans
too.....I'll wear a size 6 one place, a
size 8 somewhere else and a size 10 at
another place....angers me off....I think
they should just do away with sizes all
together...they suck!!!!
