Iam 22..could This Be?
Posted: 02-19-04 10:22am

Hello,i am a 22 year old male and I may be showing symptoms of diabetes. The past 2 weeks or so I have been felling very dizzy, kinda of balance. I have been getting very tired and have been constantly drinking/urinating alot. My doctors first said they thought it was a inner ear problem, but I got blood work done and my sugar came back high and in addition to that my bad cholesterol was high and my good cholesterol was low. Now the dizziness is almost at a constant, iam pretty over weight and my grandparents have diabetes. I am going today for an actual diabetic type test, I guess what I am asking is if you think my symptoms sound like its a good chance.Shocked
thanks for looking

You sound like someone who knows the answer just doesn't want to??

It does sound like diabetes, but that is easy to manage if you decide to but only if you decide to.

Lose some weight, start eating the right foods & healthy ones, exercise, do some relaxing stuff, yoga, swimming, whatever works for you.
Also look into alternative/natural therapies it is entirely possible that you might find something there to help you manage your cholesterol & diabetes much more easily, maybe even reduce or heal you. Worth some research.

I'd start at life extension foundation (or is it organization??).
Good luck
