Washing My Sons Plastic Toys Posted: 04-19-07 13:57pm
I don't wash his toys too often. I wash
when they get dirty or every other week
for non-"dirty" toys just to keep his
environment safe anyway I am about to soak
his plastic toys in the sink for a while
and I was wondering if anyone had any
suggestions on something mild that cleans
well and doesnt leave harmful chemical
residue.
I do have a special soap my mom used to
use when she worked as a chemist its a
strong cleanser that rinses completely
clean but it was ment for glass beakers
and pipettes I dont want to damage the
plastic because that could give germs a
place to hide
UGH now i sound obsessive... well if you
know what i mean please let me know what
products wouold be better than others... I
just don't feel confident using my dish
detergent

Febreeze recently came out with a anti
bacterial cleanser and on the commercial
it shows the lady using it in the
refridgerator and then on a babys high
chair while the baby was sitting in it. I
would think that would work well.
