I am on the progesterone only pill and take it at 12pm every day, however on tuesday i forgot when i had to go out for a few hours. i took it as soon as i came in about 5pm. I dont see my boyfriend very often and the last time we had sex was sunday. Just wondering if i should be worried about getting pregnant.

I don't know, isn't the progesterone pill a lot more picky about taking it at the right time? I haven't been on it but I was thinking about it, and that's the reason I didn't go on it because I heard that as much as two hours can cause you to ovulate because it's such a small dose of only progesterone. I don't want to freak out, just throwing it out there...

as far as i know progesterone only pill makes extremely hard for sperm to enter my womb, aswell as stopping me from ovulating. I've not been with my partner since last sunday, and was late taking it a few days later..so imo his sperm shouldnt be there, so if i did ovulate i wont get pregnant unless i have sex after not taking the pill? not sure if this is correct though.

Are you breastfeeding? Did you experience any break through bleeding in the days after you were off shedule for taking your pill?

havent been off schedule, but i have had bleeding was just a few hours late taking it. havent had a pregnancy yet either so definately not breastfeeding

I guess if you were late on the pill a couple days after you had sex I wouldn't worry so much. What you described about the pill is correct as far as I know. I had thought that you were late and then had sex that evening or something. I am not a doctor or anything, so I can't tell you for sure, but personally, I guess I wouldn't be too worried.
