Whats Wrong?
Posted: 04-20-07 07:48am

Ok, so I have strange thoughts that I can't seem to understand. Just this worry that I may be crazy, These thoughts are more like "feelings" becuase I dont understand them and I dont think anything just feels weird. I have been on paxil for 6 years and got off of it a couple weeks ago. I think it could be this but I was diagnosed with panic/anxiety dissorder at a young age. I actually was diagnosed with OCD because I washed my hands a lot but now they think its just panic because the OCD tendencies have gone away. I tend to feel fine when I dont think about it. but when I do think about it it snowballs. I am 18 so I dont know if just life changes or puberty is still something going on

how did you stop taking your paxil? It's very dangerous to stop it cold turkey. I was on paxil for about 6 yrs also and came of of it when I got pregnant. It took almost 2 months before I was off of it completely.

Yes I took about 3 months to get off it. I started in early january from 30 mg to 25 to 12.5, and just the other day I took one because I was having a panic attack and that REALLY messed me up *it was an older 30 mg dosage*
