Melissa (if You Read This)

This is just my personal letter that I decided to write you melissa. I knew that you would probably come back on the site under a different name just to see what we were saying or how we felt about it so I thought that I would leave you a little message.

The person that we knew was a great person, and the person that had some answers to our questions was a great person. But honey that wasn’t you really. You know that there are some girls on here who don’t have kids, can’t have kids, or more recently have lost there children. You could have just come out and told us that you didn’t have children, that you were doing this for a school project and we would have understood. We have all made it through so much together, and then for us to find out that you weren’t “real” that hurts.

People would have had so much more respect for you if we would've found out that this was for a school project not just a big lie.

My wish for you for the future is that you realize that your child (one day) will be a reflection of you. What you do and what you teach that child, that child will do. Now if you show your child that lying is right, don’t say, “stop lying” when he lies about where he put his shoes, you taught him that.

I hope that you don’t tell anything that happened here from the forum in your project. I hope that you say, “i was going to do a project on teen pregnancy and the lives that they live. But I got to rapped up in that. They have lives, and they go through stuff just like everyone else. They have there days where they just want to be left alone.. Etc.”

we aren’t lab rats, we are people and we deserve to be respected. We told you the things that we told you with the sense that you too were being true. Please don’t use us as examples, use yourself. After all you made your “person” seem real. Come to think about it you made “all three of them” seem real.

I hope you realize what I am getting at. I hope that the life that god holds for you is a good one, and I hope you learn from at least one thing that I have said. Good luck in the future.
