i have a really gross question
ive been having this odd discharge
sometimes, like a couple times a day
its really thick and it looks kinda like
snot only thicker, if that makes any
sence, its only when i wipe though, so i
dont think its my plug or anything i dont
know
thing is it started out a pale yellowish,
i thought it was just tinted a little by
my pee, but now its turned a pale
greenish
im gonna talk to my doc about this next
weeks at my next appintment, only because
i dont think its too serious, unless i
start having problems
but im not cramping and it doesnt hurt to
pee or anything like that, but is it
possible that means i have a uti or
something, or could it be something else
the discharge is my only "symptom" if it
is a uti

Hmm to me it sounds like it could be a uti
because that's one of the symptoms i get
when i have them but i'm not sure because
for me it's usually coupled with other
symptoms. Deffinatly mention it at your
next appointment

thats what i was thinking, its strange,
but i dont have any cramping or burning
pee or anything else
ive had a few utis before and i always
have burning pee and usualy have cramps
i think i might call monday if it doesnt
go away, my appointment isnt until
thursday...i get my group b strep
test...oh yay, then i start going every
week, bleh thats gonna suck lol

it sounds like an infection. probably
thursh. i had that with one of my
pregnancies and got a yellow discharge

do you take prenatals? This can sometime
tint the color of your urine/discharge.
Talk to your Dr. at your next appt. It
could easily be an infection, or nothing
at all.

hey i had the same thing last week. same
symptoms, no cramping or burning when i
went pee either. So i went to my doctor
and i did have a urine infection. i had
to take 2 pills a day for 3 days and it
was all gone.

becky, that one of the things im thinking
it could be (although i thought thrush was
in your mouth and it was just called a
yeast infection when it was "down below")
but the thing is it doesnt itch or
anything
sarah, i actualy dont take prenatals, i
have such a hard time remembering anything
it sucks, i know i should i just never
remember to take them
it has stopped today though, so if it
doesnt start up again i think ill just
wait until thursday when i have my
appointment, but i will deffinantly ask my
doc
chantigeek, what medicine did they give
you, ive never heard of an anitbiotic that
you take for 3 days, ususaly you have to
take it for 7 at least

having a whitish or clear discharge during
pregnancy is normal if it doesn't smell
bad and/or isn't itchy. it's called
leucorrhoea or leukorrhea. if it is
greenish or smelly you really need to
check it with your doctor. i had some
that was a little yellow but had no odour
or itchiness and i checked with my doctor.
they did some tests and everything was
fine. if you're worried just call the
doctor. better safe than sorry.

Here are signs that you should call your
doctor right away:
•spotting or bleeding
•discharge that looks like cottage
cheese
•discharge that smells like yeast or
bread
•green or yellow discharge
•irritation or itching of the vaginal
lips
•pain during urination or sex
These symptoms may mean that you have a
yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, or a
sexually transmitted disease (STD).

well seeing as this was brought back up (i
actualy forgot i posted about this, shows
how great my memory is lol) i might as
well update everyone
its seemed to stop since i last posted and
not came back yet, so i havent called the
doc, ill ask on thursday since theyll be
down there anyway, im getting my group b
strep test done
ill update when i find out what it is..if
i remeber that is lol
