Im diagnosed with an unknown mood
disorder
Im 15 years old.
I started smoking weed heavily when i was
13 years old. Continued for another year.
it got to the point where i couldnt get
out of bed in the morning without a bong
hit. Throughout those two years ive been
admitted to a psychiatric ward in a
hospital once. and admitted into a locked
down facility 2 different times. the
hospital incidident was because i attacked
____ with a pair of tweeers
I've been on Seroquel, Lithium, and
Olanzapine. Ive stopped my
anti-psychotics
I just recently went through a phase where
i didnt shower, take care of myself, go to
school, or socialize for a whole month.
THATS the second time i was admitted into
th locked down facility
Listen..Im messed up. I have glances of
colours and shapes around me. I talk to
myself. My mind is always GOING and GOING
never stopping thoughts ideas memories
EVERYTHING.
Is it premature to assume schizophrenia
might be a possibility?

Most people are diagnosed with
schozophrenia in their early adulthood. It
is a little early for you but not
impossible, some people get it in
childhood. Many people who are diagnosed
later on realize they have had symptoms
for much longer.
I would talk to your doctor and your
parents. A lot of times doctors are trying
so hard to fix each symptom, they don't
look at the whole picture. (Just my
opinion). Tell them what you have
described in the thread, and that you
think you may be schizophrenic. If you are
diagnosed with schizophrenia, all of your
other diagnoses would be explained (ocd
and tourettes, for sure). I am not a
doctor, but it sounds like a possibility
to me. Bi-polar does not sound like it
fits.
Your doctor should be willing to
re-evaluate your current diagnoses. And if
he/she doesn't, perhaps it is time to see
a new one.

schizophrenia isn't the same thing as
hallucinations. If you are seeing things
there is probally something else wrong.
Schozophrenia is when you are hearing
things and or voices telling you to act
out in ways not normal for you.
On the off chance that you are thinking
that it could be mulitple personalities.
Not likely, either unless you have major
gaps in time missing. Also mulitiple
personalitys have at least 3 personalities
that are aware of each other, but the host
is not.
Also in a final note mulitple
personalities is also caused *only* by
sexual abuse as a child. It is one of the
few things we know the cause of...
