Well, my temp is now well within my normal
post-o level, so it looks like any other
month now. I'll force myself to wait at
least another week or so before calling
the specialist.
mg - no kidding. If there is something I
can do to increase our chances, I'd love
to know about it. My doctor is a
cheerleader type. She reminds me that
normal people take a while to get
pregnant. She also said that about half
the couples she refers to the specialist
get pregnant before their first
appointment. She seems to be very
sensitive to the anxiety of trying to get
pregnant while trying as much as possible
to be positive. In fact, when I was
leaving, she said, "see you when your
pregnant." How have you been doing?
mc - the hormone tests will come with the
trip to the specialist. I read that the
first test is a sperm test followed by a
couple of tests on me. I wonder whether
my hormone levels are out of whack. Not
detecting an LH surge definitely points to
a hormone problem, but I do have clear
temp patterns throughout the month. The
temps only really get erratic just before
af and during af (or if I sleep in or
don't sleep well).
star - well, I definitely wouldn't
recommend the clear blue easy digital
(cbed) for you either. On the other tests
I used, I could only get a positive in the
morning, never later in the day. I
thought cbed would be better since it says
it can be used at any time of the day. I
read and reread the instructions several
times to make sure I was doing it
correctly, too. I guess I'll either be
pregnant or wait find out at my next
appointment.
vol - thanks for the support. How are
your and your little bean doing?
Princess - no kidding on the cost. I
think I'll either have to cut out opk all
together and just go by cm (maybe I'll try
tracking my cervix position as well), or
find a more reliable and cheaper opk. Are
you using opk's?
When I get close to the end of the 2ww,
I'll let you know. Here is my chart for
now:

probably o'd one day earlier than ff says
but it's close enough.
