I'm currently sexually active and taking
an oral contraceptive (Nortrel). I have
been for about a year and a half. My
period usually comes Tuesday night, it is
now Friday and there is no sign of it- not
even spotting.
I took a pregnancy test yesterday, but it
was negative. I take my pill religiously
at the same time everyday. I even had
period symptoms last week.
I've been sick all week (maybe flu), and I
was wondering if that could be the reason
behind this. I'm also extremely busy, so
maybe stress too? This has NEVER happened
to me, I always at least have some
spotting. But this time it's like my
period decided to go on vacation.
Any ideas of why?

.stress can definitely be a factor. .if
it still hasn't come by the start of your
regular pills .i would say test again just
to be sure and to allow for a more
accurate test.
