gabe's stupid cord finally fell off today!!!!

last night when i changed him i noticed it was suuuuper lose, like, only hanging on my a little string. & .then today, at the trailer (we stayed with .chris last night! Smile), i was changing his diaper, & noticed that it was totally unattached & sitting up above his little belly button! i was like ".yesss!!!! it fell off!"

.now he can have a *real* bath!

it took long enough! he's over a month old, for heavens sake!

i thought it was supposed to be only like 2 weeks or something!

things with .chris went great. he's been really affectionate the past 2 days we've spent together. he's still keeping his distance, i can tell. but he is really really acting like he's enjoying my company again. it's great.

finally! so did you give him a real bath right away? finn's belly button looked raw after his stump fell off and he hated being in the water anyway (now he loves it) so it was quite a while before he got a real bath.

did you keep it?

yay! I was so happy when braydens fell off, I thought his belly button was so cute! Braydens took almost 4 weeks to so don't worry about it taking so long!

I thought you had to wait a week before submerging there belly buttons in a bath after the cord fell off...am I wrong?
