hi there...i'm new to this forum...this is
my first time here. i was doing some
research on hyst. and found this place. i
will be having a "total hyst" in about 2
weeks. i am very scared now after having
read some of the side effects and other
health related problems. i've already
been in the hospital 3 times in the last
month and just had a blood transfusion
because i had lost so much blood. i have
been bleeding continuously for the past
month and it's not slowing down. some
days are good but some days..whew! wish i
could just scream the pain away. my
sister inlaw had a hyst. about 8 or 9
years ago and she's healthy and doing
fine. but considering i'm overweight
too...that just adds more risk to me.
because of this sickness, i've lost my
job...and cannot get a job until after my
surgery and recovery time. that means i
will not be able to function fully to be
able to work until mid june or so. i am
feeling quite helpless now. thanks for
sharing and letting me know what to
expect.
