Eyebrow Pimple
Posted: 08-28-03 20:29pm

Ok, to start off i've had this eyebrow pimple, I guess I would call it, for almost a year.. I cant exactly remember when it started since its been so long. It started as what seems to be a deep ingrown hair and it was too deep for me to pop. Soon I was able to pop it, then it would keep getting reinfected and white milky stuff would form inside. People constantly ask if I had my eyebrow pierced, to which the answer is no. Its embarassing to say its a huge pimple. It builds up with white liquid now and the semisold white stuff and it smells bad. Its hollow inside since I poked it with a clean needle to feel inside and I feel no pain. Any help or directions for help would be greatly appreciated.

Quit popping it and go to a doctor, it doesn't sound very nice.

Yea...Don't touch it. Get it looked at. It could be a boil/abscess....Although those are uncommon on the eyebrow, but then again, boils can develop anywhere there is a pore opening to the skin. Definately get that checked out!

Good luck

Don't touch it, as suggested above. It may be a cyst as well, they can form from open pores that have been irritated. ( the cells form around the bacteria and the skin forms around the cells, so the cell wrapped bacteria just stays there in a "shell" under the skin's surface..) pretty gross huh...See a dermatologist. Good luck-
