Everything Spinning Around

My mother has been diagnosed with high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes (no insulin required). recently however, she has been acting a bit strange, everything seems to get to her head. when she has small everyday tasks to complete such as dishes or laundary, everything around her begins spinning just b/c of the stress. It is not even a lot of stress because she is used to doing many things at once but now even one small task will cause this. The other day we went shopping and as she went through some clothes on a rack, she felt as if everything around her began spinning. Yesterday, her eyes could barely open because they were hurting so much and she felt very sleepy the entire day with everything around her spinning as if she was not in reality. I'm not sure what it is but she is unable to handle the normal every day things in life. what could this be?

It could be many things. Anxiety, depression and inner ear infection and many many others.

My best suggestion is to take her to the doctor. Doctors tend to take things more seriously when a family member can attest to the occurrences, and as sad as it is, if they know there is family there to double check everything, they tend to be a little more diligent and do more tests.

Good luck. And please keep us posted as to her health. She is lucky to have a daughter that cares as much as you do!
