a Guy Who Need's Help Immediately. Posted: 04-22-07 21:29pm
Alright, I'm an 18 year old male on this
predominately female forum. I have a few
concerns that I would like to address.
First of all, my girlfriend of 2 years and
I have NEVER had unprotected sex.
Everytime we have ever engaged in
intercourse, I have used a condom, and
pulled out before I ejaculated just to
ensure that if the condom broke that I
would cum inside of her. The condom has
never broke...
She's a small female (about 100 pounds)
and her period patterns have been very
irregular lately. Her period has gotten
progressively later each month. This does
not worry me as, like I said, she is small
and smaller females have longer cycles
(from what I understand). Her cycle is
also a typical 5 day one, and does not
resemble "spotting."
My main concern is that her breasts have
gotten noticeably larger in the last
month. Could this be swelling from PMS or
her period? Can a condom leak without
breaking? Can my girlfriend, even though
I have never came inside her, be pregnant?

If she thinks she might be pregnant, you
should ask her to take a test. I'm not
sure if breasts necessarily get bigger in
early pregnancy (they could though, I
imagine) but they can become tender.
Good job on using condoms! You are most
likely protected and she is probably just
fine.

Birth Control? Posted: 04-22-07 23:16pm
I definately agree about taking a
pregnancy test.. Sometimes gaining weight
can increase her size. And if she is as
small as you say she is her body may just
be developing now with bigger hips larger
breast ect.. Another thing that can make
her breast bigger is birth control. Has
that changed recently? Its what happened
to me, one day all of the sudden I had
boobs. But most of all.. when pregnancy
is on your mind then you tend to notice
something that you didn't before. Good
luck.

Thank you. She took a test today and it
read negative. Is a pregnancy test
effective when you take it after your
period? On the box it says "effective for
up to 4 days before missed period." This
is somewhat misleading.

HCG can be found in your urine as early as
6 days past ovulation. Very sensitive home
pregnancy tests can detect your pregnancy
at about 9 or 10 days past ovulation in a
significant percentage of cases.

It Should Be Posted: 04-23-07 22:34pm
Yes it should be. What the box is saying
is that you can test up to four days
"before" you miss your period. Meaning
you can take it on the 10th when you
expect your period on the 14th. But the
accuracy increases the closer you are to
when your period is due.
