I am a marathon runner and when my
training volume exceeds a given level, I
frequenlty have dizziness when standing
after being seated for awhile (orthostatic
hypotension). This symptom is almost non
existent when my training volume is low.
My diastolic blood pressure is usually
below normal ranges, especially during
periods of increased training volume (i.e.
~50). My resting HR is usually in the mid
to upper 40's in the AM.
Is there anything I can do, besides
decreasing training volume, to stop or
decrease the dizziness?
