Unknown Symptoms, Gall Stones Maybe?
Posted: 04-23-07 15:10pm

Recently I've been waking up most mornings with digestive discomfort and mild pressure pain on my left side.

This morning I awoke with similar symptoms but the pain is now on the right side of my abdomen, a little bit below the belly button.

The discomfort in the morning feels mainly like gas and indegestion however the pressure pain remains most of the day. I do not notice the pain until I cough/sneeze. The pain feels like acute pressure on the right hand side of my abdomen below the belly button.

I am 23 years old. I suspect it might be related to the gall bladder as my diet as of late has been poor (high cholesteral/fast food too often). Since the discomfort Im feeling when I sneeze/cough has moved from the left to the right Im concerned it might be something more serious. The pain associated with coughing/sneezing seems to be greater during the morning.

it doesnt sound like gallstones to me, the pain wouldnt be under the belly button, pain from gallstones is usually right under the rib cage, but im not sure what could be causing your pain either, iwould def see a dr since thats around ur appendix etc. Im not sure what u could suggest to the dr as to what it is though but from where your pain is it doesnt sound related to the gallbladder.
